Chapel

Arch way

How we like to soothe the mind.

To make room for connection with that of a higher kind.

Always a disturbance during the day.

Keeping the door to the chapel firmly at bay.

Keep on trying to open the gap

To let but a minnow;

A fleeting chance to escape.

Never too late to open the gate.

The wider the hinge,

The more that escapes.

The door shuts; again.

Yet the more it’s opened.

The more that is gained.
